Pink has always been an intriguing color to me. Because if we think about colors as different wavelengths of light, pink doesn’t exist that way. Instead, it’s created through reflection of both red and violet light, which are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Pretty neat right?

If you are hosting a party, event, or even just a simple date night, it can be fun to think about the color of the dishes you are serving. Colors can evoke different emotions, and the range of pinks can set a variety of moods. Let’s dig in closer and get some delicious ideas for your pink party!

Light Red, Coral, and Peachy Pinks

Starting on the warmer side of the spectrum, these shades of pink tend to lean a bit more toward the orange side. In color theory, this combination is considered invigorating and optimistic. Try serving these selections at a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower. These are perfect for a first date as well, setting a positive feeling for the future.
